Outside of Celtic, Sevco, (and Shinnie) I don't see any standout left backs in any of the other squads in our league that I would be happy to see us sign:

I've said it before and will say it again, if it's not Shinnie (and I am inclined to agree that McInnes will always play him in midfield when he can) we need to sign a left footed Shay Logan. Who is that? I've no idea but point blank refuse to believe such a player doesn't exist that would be within our budget in Englandshire or elsewhere.

On Considine himself, I think the conversation on his mistakes or otherwise completely misses the point (and his main weakness), which is his lack of pace to play full back. He may not make any mistakes but if Boyle or Forrest or Jones etc run at him they will easily do him for pace and then be in a position to put in a cross or get off a shot that may result in a goal (as more often than not this will result in one of our CD's getting pulled out of position). Did Considine make a mistake? No, but it still costs us a goal.

We need to sign a LB with pace. Full stop.

I just asked in context to consider who we could realistically consider from our own leagues.
