So, are you going to stop it with the 'Jittery Janice' stuff now then Gray?

The entire tone of the interview can be summed up as 'I'm in charge'.

To be fair he's alluss said that he was in charge Pops, any major interference from the board and TUFTY would be off.I really njoy listenin to his interviews but what d'ya expect from a TRUE BLADE CLAPPER like me. I notice we aint heard as much from most of the serial board knockers these last few days(TT,Chings etcno doubt if there's a big sale before the window closes like Arnie They'll be back. UTCB

I get that Rod, but most managers have their ideas and then have to put them in front of the board for a yea/nay. Tufty IS in charge. He's not just clear on what he wants, but he is running the show like it was his own money. (Probably best for our two owners to give him a budget and take a back seat anyway for now. That might be the smartest decision they ever make, btw)

He indicates we're only after one striker now.

    I don't believe him.

So which is it - do we want two more signings or just one?

Is there a clue in what he said about big clubs '...trusting us with their kids, Man Utd, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea'.

Is it just me, I can't recall a loan in from Tottenham..?

    Carter-Vickers.

So we'll have decent relationships with all those clubs - as long as we serve Woodburn well. It's a big plus.

Being in a position to consistently pick up the best loanees could be the key to the universe. Or at least getting promoted...
