    L'Equipe

We have opened talks with Lyon over a potential move for 19 year old sensation Myzianee Maolida according to the French sports paper.

Even if we sign him we have had problems with some French not settling. It is always a bit of a risk.

We need at least relatively experienced 24+ Year olds who can go straight into the first team not feckn kids for the future.

I agree but he played 22 games in the Lyon first team last season scoring 3 times, only 13 games in the League but 6 European games and the rest in cups.

So although only 19 he should make the first team squad if we sign him.

I think I read that he will only sign if he is part of the first team set up, as he only wants to leave for more game time

L'Equipe have said we're signing quite a lot of players recently and all of their stories have turned out to have nothing in them.

I don't personally think this is true either.

The other stories might have had something in them. And at the last minute the deals were changed from what was agreed. That is the norm with Slug and Penfold.

I agree that is their norm but i just don't see it.

Think it's L'Equipe doing lazy journalism personally.
