No awards for musicality but surely the greatest song titles and lyrics ever:

    Pottery’s Gay

    [chorus:]
    pottery's gay, pottery's gay [x4]

you could'nt afford college, you took a night class
you made a clay dildo, and shoved it up your ass

    [chorus]
    There were also

    The Internets Gay
    You are Gay
    Technologys Gay
    Recyclings Gay

    And my favourite.

    Windchimes are Gay

    RIP Seth Putnam

Was going to suggest it but the YouTube link wouldn’t work & let’s face it, none of the more musically challenged posters in here would’ve clicked it anyway

    Vauxhall & I is another 10/10

    RIP Seth Putnam
    From Wikipedia:

On October 12, 2004 Putnam was hospitalized after ingesting a cocktail of crack-cocaine, alcohol, heroin, and two months' worth of Ambien sleeping pills. It has been reported that he spent the previous day contemplating suicide, though exact circumstances surrounding the drug overdose are vague.

Anal ****'s 1997 album I Like It When You Die contained the track "You're in a Coma". Putnam's reaction to the resulting irony of being in a coma was published in the Boston Phoenix: "Actually, it turned out it was just as gay as the song I wrote nine years ago – being in a coma was just as ****in' stupid as I wrote it was."

I was much more into my indie than rock back in the 90's, but the albums below defined the 90's for me. Cracking memories.

    Verve - Urban Hymns
    Oasis - Definitely Maybe
    Semisonic - Feeling Strangely Fine
Foo Fighters - Nothing left to lose
    Offspring - Americana
Embrace - The Good Will Out
    Manics - Everything must go

Green Day - Nimrod. Still give it a spin every now and then.
