Hopefully some other astute loan signings are being lined up to bolster the squad.

Aloreburn, whilst we are all frustrated at the size of the squad this has to be tempered by the fact that we do possess two of the most talented players in the division. Harkins and especially Dobbie will be on very decent wages for this division which I am certain are part funded by some of the BoD. So we can either increase the squad size by ditching the likes of these two or we simply have to face up to reality accepting we cannot have the best of both worlds and live with the squad we currently have. Hopefully this can be supplemented through judicious loan signings as we have done over the last few seasons.

We always assume we can't afford players and have to have a small squad. We can't compete in a bidding war with wages which is fair enough but I doubt there is a strict budget limit, for example:
The last couple of seasons we have brought in numerous loan players in the January transfer who hardly got a look in. If there was such a strict budget then why would we being in loan signings and not play them?

a few injuries to key players and we will be up that familiar creek without the paddle .
