Clearly we're not the finished article yet and several signings are required. A bit worrying that our two main signings have had an inauspicious start. McInnes has more or less admitted that he hasn't been able to sign his key targets. He has to take a fair bit of responsibility for that but at the same time he can't force players to sign. Seems like we might have to wait until the end of the month before we have an idea what the squad will look like for the coming season.

Could have been a disastrous start but on balance a point isn't bad.

With the english window closing before ours in 3 days time, could throw up different scenarios it will either allow us to sign players after this, as the teams down the road will know their squads and what can happen. But then again it could work against us as teams may not get their targets so will not release players.

Are you serious? Aside from anything else Jack deserves everything he gets every time he comes here, but he also tried to break May's leg last time around. He's got every right to put one on him.

I want our players to “target” opposition players that are easy to wind up.
Morelos is definitely one.
Good on McKenna.
I want us to be more street-wise generally.

As for May, Jack “did him” last season.
May was out for around 2-3 months.
In the football world, Jack was fair game.
