    Cunning plan.

Laffy allures to it on the other board but worth thinking about.

AJ stops the tap, on family advice, and there’s panic hence the 500k request from Kirdi and then the 1.25 loan from EWM. I’m sure it was hoped by Jenkins and he’s family that that would be it and EWM would then takeover as that was the noise Jenkins kids were making.

However PD/EWM are intelligent business people and wouldn’t hand over money like that. This special relationship didn’t flourish and no signs of takeover. Loan spent and no chance of anymore.

AJs, he’s families, priority is to get the money back for himself and Pioneer before the clubs needs I think. Therefore it’s pleusable he’s Playing a game with EWM that he will put the club in a low position spending very little in the hope it spurs PD/EWM into a full takeover and getting some money back. EWM are now heavily involved and can’t have negative publicity due to their Carlisle head office move.

Certainly gets you thinking, and wouldn’t put it past Jenkins kids, who don’t care much for the club to think it up. Jenkins families priority is to get their money back. EWM will eventually take over but for the lowest possible price it’s what they do.

If it’s stalemate then that’s the bad news, and I think that’s what’s happening now and no ones budging yet. We could be awful to Xmas where EWM will have a big decision to make takeover and give AJ some money, wait and hope it’s goes to admin and pick it up that way or walk away(call in debts) and all the negativity that brings therelll be dragged out the city.

The lack of spending on the squad and ground is obvious and it's a dangerous ploy Mullen. If it stops the financial rot and we manage to break even, and the team is sitting (somehow) in mid-table then PD may decide that he can leave well alone. The wheel will inevitably come off but it might not happen this season.
