    Predictocomp table 2018-19

    Welcome back. I'll try and do updates on Sundays but if I miss one or two I apologise in advance.

    Anyway, scores from 2 to 12 this week mean that some folk are playing catch-up already. Last season's champ NZBlue is already 7 points behind, and his antipodean mate CUFCAussieBranch didn't even turn up (unless I missed summat). Have a word NZBlue.

    Fixtures at Accrington, Burton and Stevenage fooled almost all of us, and absolutely NO-ONE foresaw FGR's 4-1 win at Grimsby. I mean, why would we?

    This week's lesson is on the importance of getting a few scores right - Howoldboy got 3 and rightly leads the table.

    Only another 39 weeks to go......

    1 Howoldboy............12
    2 Piglet...................10
    3 Pete......................8
    4= Crusha................6
    4= Gaz.....................6
    4= Griff....................6
    7= Acido..................5
    7= Buc.....................5
    7= Cayambe.............5
    7= Mullen.................5
    7= NZBlue................5
    12 Gards..................4
    13= Altobelli.............3
    13= Chalky...............3
    15 Alf.......................2
    ................................
    EOB.........................2

    See you next week.

    Week 2

    Firstly I owe Piglet an apology because I forgot his “bonus” entry last week. I know that we’ve had a player called Rigg, but can’t remember one called Castle. I must be missing summat. I hope that it wasn’t your disappointment that made you forget to enter this week.

    A welcome to new player Psaw, and a welcome back to AussieBranch who we understand has now moved to the Phillipines. Unfortunately that means that the AML (Antipodean Mini League) is no more. It has ceased to be. Luckily, it has now been replaced by the PAML (Phillipines & Australia Mini League). Normal service etc. These two start as EOBs on 2 points. Piglet as a dne (did not enter) gets this week’s lowest score of 3 as a booby prize because these things happen. Just explaining this in case anyone’s wondering.

    Anyway, would you believe it, AussieBranch jumped straight in with the week’s top score of 10 and heads straight to 3rd place. Howoldboy continued his good form scoring 8 and still leads the table. Gards jumped from 12th to 5th and Chalky will be shocked to see that he’s now 9th. Piglet’s absentmindedness did him no harm as he’s still 2nd.

    Only 3 entrants failed to score points from Exeter’s win at Morecambe (schoolboy howler Alf Altobelli and Psaw) and only Gards foresaw Brentford’s draw at Stoke.

    Please check all the figures as mistakes do happen and I’d rather you told me. Any questions also please ask.

    See you next week.

    1 Howoldboy..................(8) 20
    2 Piglet....................(dne3) 13
    3= AussieBranch….(EOB2+10) 12

    5= Mullen......................(6) 11
    5= Pete........................(3) 11
    9= Buc..........................(4) 9
    9= Chalky......................(6) 9
    9= Crusha......................(3) 9
