New member saying hello, United through and through, been going since 68, seen the great to the abysmal and all in-between, some already think I'm on a wind up cause I think phillips is the worst player we have by a country mile, its only my opinion but time will prove me right, the lad is pure bab.
Anyway, great result yesterday and a performance not many expected although they all need to prove themselves to the new management team so had to put a shift in, after all this is the nucleus of the team that failed badly last season and got us to 13th in the league, I fully expect douglas to become a crowd favourite, gets forward and puts good crosses in, dosent take any prisoners either and is a natural left back, a few more additions to the squad and ship out more dross and who knows, we just might make the play offs.
Football fans aren't as stupid as some players think, they put a shift in and will be forgiven for minor indiscretions, don't pull their weight and hide they will soon be sussed, also the new regime won't tolerate any slackers for long so will be an interesting first few weeks.

another phillips knocker, when will folk learn, if he was so bad how come he plays so often, under so many coaches, they all rate him, there are a lot of fans who rate him, ok he aint the finished article, but which player is aged 22?! and without his contribution last season, 7 goals and 3 assists, we would have finished even further down the table

I make no apologies for slating the most inept player we have, he's utter dog **** at best, so the common denominator on this forum seems to be "either fit in with what the regulars think or don't bother expressing an opinion"
