    Back in for Bauer

We are very much back in for this lad. Another absolute steal if we paid under £2m. But this lad, like Armstrong etc etc is absolutely desperate to come to Rovers and play in this great young side under a brilliant manager. He has requested that he speaks to us and we are preparing a bid. Charlton are desperate to keep him, he played well on Sat away at Sunderland.

    Apparently not
Tony Mowbray has told the LT that we have moved on
Could be smoke and mirrors might not be the next few days will tell it all.

TM has been playing a very clever game all pre-season. Only a week ago he stated we where interested in Armstrong and Chapman, his words where 'we would like to see both return, but it is not a priority'
A week later we signed Armstrong and the Chapman deal is very close to completion.
I know Charlton are very fearful of losing him to us, and Bowyer has said they would be crazy to sell for £2m or below. I guess we will watch this space on a few deals in the next few days. But this is when they are being made, right now. What Mowbray says and does are two different things.
We are very asstute and clever in the market now.

That's why I made the smoke and mirrors comment
It is clever the way he has gone about things but I can't see us paying 2 million he isn't worth that
The player is in his last year of his contract,I wouldn't venture over a million.
