    Transfer Deadline Day Matchday thread.

So, nearly the end of transfer silly season. Who are we still in for or interested in:

    Still Pennington??

HITC Sport understands Leeds, West Brom and Reading could make late moves for Peterborough star Marcus Maddison.

(HITC Sport source) Moussa Konate would be an excellent addition at Leeds United

French newspaper L'Equipe claim that Leeds are looking to sign 25-year-old Konate after an excellent 2017-18 campaign which saw him score 16 goals in all competitions, 13 of which came in France's top tier - Ligue 1.

It is believed that Leeds are considering a last-minute offer before Thursday's 5pm deadline, and could face competition from Championship competitors Brentford for the Senegal international's signature.

Konate would be great. Maddison could be good. Pennington not good at all. No idea what will happen and quite possibly nothing at all. One or two out would be decent such as De Bock.

Think any idea of signing players from abroad is nonsense as our business is being done (rightly) in the UK.

Personally I'd like to see us sign Maddison and Foden on loan (if he isn't part of Peps plans, even if it is just till January to see how it goes)

I'd be happy with Pennington if it is what Bielsa wants and I'd really (thought I don't see it happening) like to see Ryan Woods join.

    Think we still need:

Centre back: Pennington or Byram (though I think we are two short at centre back)
    Winger: Maddison or Foden
    Centre mid: Woods or Basic
    Striker: Don't see it happening

I'd also take Byram on loan, I know people moan but he was brilliant for us and would provide great cover that would allow Ayling to cover at centre back when needed.

Two players in now and one more on loan would do me. Ideally in my head that would be Besic, Pennington and Foden

    I say 'ideally'

Ideally it would be Messi, De Bruyne and Chiellini.

    Realistically is what I meant

The rumour is also you are interested in Millwall's George Saville, hope he does not go, he is valued at £7 million.

I think Foden is more likely to get game time with mcfc this season. Lukas Nmecha, another mentioned to be loaned out, would be a good fit. Guardiola is probably aware that if the boy comes to Leeds, his fitness and development is going to improve a lot more than going to a club like Villa, who seem to be favourites to take him if twitter is to be believed.

Well according to Angus Kinnear its more likely to be loans rather than perms.
