Instantly you can see who the best preformers have been.

It's not goals misteram it's the number of MoMs he's won in brackets. He's made a good start for us.

I just can't be arsed to count them at the end of the season.

Not exactly frog.

e.g. against each "Ajayi" entry you have put "3" - the season total so far
MT has put "1" against his first mom game "2" against his second, "3" against his 3rd
Better? neither better nor worse imo.
I don't think the way you are doing it is confusing.
