    Strikers of my time

As i approach 45 i was thinking of some of the strikers i recall during my time watching the Millers.
Just about remember seeing Ronnie play but the first striker i remember vividly was Bobby Williamson! Some player he was.
Had some good ones since then.
    Clive Mendona
    Tony Cunningham
    Shaun Goater
    Mark Robins
    Alan Lee
Adam Le Fondre all spring to mind.
A fond memory for me was being a ball boy at millmoor when Paul Haycock (Yes Paul Haycock) played for us. We were playing Carlisle and it was 1-1 at half time. I spoke to Paul in the tunnel and told him to go and score the winner and he did with a magnificent diving header. He shook my hand after the match. Top bloke he was.

Tynan was an out and out striker.
A great no.9, not the tallest, but a great striker in his short time with us.
Alan Birch set him up for quite a few goals, he was a great winger.

Better than Blackstock - just - at least he tried - he was just...not a striker

I remember seeing Bos score a few goals for us. I dont think he had a bad goalscoring record during his playing career to be fair.

Yes, probably a bit harsh on him - think it was the hype beforehand that set the bar higher than it needed to be - at least he gave his all - worth 1000+ Blackstocks
