At the end of the day we should never have got rid of Rooney if we didn’t have a replacement as good or better than him lined up.

Plenty of people on here came away with the spiel he had gone backwards for the last year or whatever but the ironic thing is we have now gone backwards because he has moved on.

We struggled to score goals in McInnes first season when we had Zola and Vernon as our strikers until he signed Rooney half way through that season.

Absolutely this, the fact we paid 20k for this donkey just makes those responsible even more culpable. Especially when you watch the unit at Hearts today bully the Tim’s and he cost feck all.
