I live worry free because I don't worry about things that I can't influence and, over my almost 72 years on this earth, I have come to realise that there is probably about 98% of things over which I have no control. That being the case, I learned very quickly to just ignore the other 2% and live a happy life --much to the annoyance of lots of my friends who can't understand why I am always happy and just get on with things, regardless of what life throws at me.
having just read Post 89 I think I will join you Supersub.

Russia’s Kolashnikov electric car looks like a 70s Ford Escort
Russian manufacturing firm Kalashnikov has wheeled out a retro-looking electric car it says will give Elon Musk's Tesla a run for its money. The firm behind the famous AK-47 assault rifle presented the eggshell-blue prototype vehicle, the CV-1, at an event near the capital, Moscow. It said the CV-1, inspired by a Soviet hatchback created in the 1970s, was a revolutionary cutting-edge "supercar".
Kalashnikov was earlier ridiculed over its new combat robot "little Igor".

Ryanair out to screw you again with charges for hand luggage. From November, passengers will still be allowed to take one "small personal bag" into the cabin, as long as it will fit under the seat in front.
But they will have to pay £6 if they also want to take a 10kg bag, such as a pull-along suitcase, on board.
And they'll still have to pay up to £10 if they want to check that bag into the hold instead.

    One for consideration
Passengers needing the toilet will be screened to see if they need A number 1 or 2. There will be a charge of £10 for sitting for a number 2 and £5 for standing for a number 1 plus toilet paper at £1 a sheet. Passengers will be allowed one minute to perform before they are fined £5 for every 30 seconds over time. Toilet doors will be removed to save weight. Seats near the toilets will carry a pervert premium. Lol

I’ve stopped flying with them after their efforts over pilot strikes. The man was saying he wouldn’t be flying after Brexit, so I’m trying to help him in any way possible.
He’s mad enough to be on here too!

    Financial market turmoil

    Some good news first
Pound rises against dollar as Barnier says he will offer a better deal than other non EU members.

Argentine President Mauricio Macri has asked the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to speed up its bailout from the £38.5bn ($50bn) credit line as the nation’s crippling economic crisis continues to deepen. The Argentine peso continued to plummet sharply for the eighth successive day, falling one percent to a record low of 31.65 per dollar early on Wednesday.
Argentina’s economic crisis has seen the country’s currency fall by 40 percent this year and 12 percent in August alone.

In Turkey Economic confidence in Turkey, where the value of lira has plummeted, have reached a low point not seen since March 2019. The news sparked a further devaluation in currency against the US dollar amid a background in which traders are jettisoning lira.

The International Monetary Fund expects inflation in Venezuela to be 1,000,000% for 2018. Millions have left the country.

Sweden elections likely to see a Swexit debate with the biggest party being in favour.
