I'm assuming from what I've read on here Brunt, Livermore & Nyom were the weak links. Surely it has to be Field for Brunt ASAP and Dawson for Nyom almost ASAP.

Pulis fixes the defence after decades and Moore who was a great defender has so far produced a defence with lots of holes in it. Baffling.

Why cant Dave see that Nyom would never make a footballer all the while he has got a hole in his arse? This man is an absolute joke and will cost us games if he persists in playing him. There just has to be an alternative.

The fact we are trying to sign a right back makes me think Big Dave does know what he needs, add a midfielder another striker get Dawson's head right and things will look a whole lot better.

I didn't see the game today but from the reports my post on Dawson earlier today was very significant. We must get him back as quickly as possible into the centre of our defence and sign a right back on loan. Can we re-sign McCauley?

We've done nothing but defend for three years. Parked the bus and ground out results, boring everyone to death, with no focus on attacking whatsoever.
We score four and everyone complains we don't defend and all I here is complaints about us conceding three.

Very true but they missed a penalty, Johnson was MOTM, and they had 20 shots on our goal.
2 of our goals were down to their goalie who had a howler.
Score could easily have been 5 2 to them.
Honestly, its not because we were too gung ho as they had over 60% possession. It’s just that our players cant defend.

Very true Whicka, but we are not going to score 4 every week. You can defend well and still concede 3 or you can defend badly and concede only one or 2. Either way bad defending needs fixing, and not with extra numbers like Pulis did, with decent players. We may have those players already so It's up to Moore to sort out the best combination. I doubt Brunt & Livermore can be the right pairing in midfield to aid the defence. They are hardly Robson & Cantello. There lies a problem that may prove even harder to solve though, like most, I would get Field in there pronto.
