    Ipswich Post Match Thoughts

With the team selection today and after last week's disappointment it could have been like the shower scene from Hitchcock's Psycho on here tonight. But what do we know? PW is the boss. Today will probably be the blueprint for what we can expect this season so get investing in some blood pressure pills.

    Thoughts?

There where many good individual preformances today without much link up play. We only had a couple of players that didn't seem up to it but that could change this week.
Desperatly need a central midfielder who will give it simple and won't panic.

I doubt if we'll see another referee that has the same sort of idea of the rules as him today. Luckily he didn't give the penalty but I wasn't surprised he missed it as he'd missed everything else.

Going to have a gin and tonic now! Enjoy your evening chaps and chppettes!

ps. Barry and Syd will be smiling now!

Did the crowd do the “to you to me” thing on 73 mins?

We had an attack half way through 'there's only one Barry Chuckle' which ended the song.

There is a clip on twitter with to me to you coming accross really well. It also shows Paul Chuckle standing and waving to the stand.

They actually showed that on BBC 1 morning news today. Great moment.

With regard to the game, we are still coming to terms with the Championship. Agree with other posts regarding Ajayi, Vassell, Rodak and Taylor. First 25 minutes was like Brentford match with one big difference. We didn't concede. We started to get more into the game and I actually thought that our fitness told in the end.

One thing I have noticed this season is that Rodak is continually kicking and not throwing it to the fullbacks. I think that we need to do this once we get used to the pace of the league. Definitely need a central midfielder. I understand that we are looking at a kid from Everton.

Wow. Fantastic. The last minutes mins always seem like a lifetime on the bbc site.
