    Yedlin Injury

He left on crutches and it's his right knee.

Rafa didn't sound hopefully he'd be fit for Cardiff game.

Which means we've got our brand spanking new full-back making his debut because the board wisely listened to Rafa when he said we needed some depth there. . . . oh wait a minute.

No it means that Wanquillo or Sterry will have to start.

    It'll be the full-back-Joselu, Wanquillo.

    Appalling player.

Mind, let's be honest, Yedlin should only be back-up at best-he's a poor defender who can get away with mistakes higher up the field by using his pace but when it comes to his positional sense in the defending third of the pitch, he comes up short time and time again...as we saw today.

Aye but he's still best we've got currently for that position

Where was he for the winner? Ehhh miles away from Delli Ali can’t defend and can’t cross a ball when 50 yards up the pitch.

Where was he for their second? Poor defender and even when he’s 50 yards up the pitch he can’t cross a ball.

Needed 2 x full backs... fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

Just to play devil's advocate here, we might not have seen the best of Manquillo yet. He was basically played on the opposite flank last season because of injuries, and his normal position is on the right. In the least I'd expect him to be more comfortable at the back and offer something going forward if he steps in for Yedlin. Might surprise us (in a pleasant way)? Please

For the half hour he had on the right away at Watford last game of last season he did pretty well I thought. Hopefully he can build on it. He put in a few decent crosses and I think it was one that led to Perez scoring?

We have options,we could move Clark to right back and play Fernandez at CB.

Or we could play 3 at the back with Ritchie and Kenedy as wing backs.
