    Correct.

Agree with the five game ticket although you do realise that 100 divided by 5 is 20 and not 24 don't you? £110 or £115 would be more sensible (for all 21 and overs) with a reduction to £75 for the under 21s, working fathers of young children, students and the unemployed - you know, the people that need the concession.
Oap’s do not have as much money coming as when they were working but still most of the same outgoings. Not every OAP’s has a ‘gold plated’ pension and some OAP’s only have the basic pension. Even with a small pension they are in the poverty trap ss they are unable to claim for extra benefits.
At present the PATG price for concessions for Category B home league games is £16. No OAP in their right mind is going to pay £100 for 5 home games when they can currently pay £80 for 5 home games.
As a former pupil of Morgan Academy Senior Secondary School I certainly know that £100 divided by 5 is £20 and not £24.
If the club are trying to encourage fans to pay for a five game ticket up front they have to make it a good deal and not charge 5 times the full price.

It’s not just the cost at Dens , the whole match day experience is flawed - from the queuing twice for access , the facilities , what they have done to the Derry and the atmosphere.

Our home support gates are going down each year and I feel the fan/ club connection could be better.

Our support on Saturday taking everything into account was pretty poor tbh but not surprising.
If I had not been in Dundee for an unplanned visit the attendance last Saturday would have been two less as I would not have been at game and I persuaded a friend who lives out of town to also go to the Aberdeen game.

I don't see many poor pensioners around to be honest. Most, in fact all, OAPs that I know have more disposable income than my son who is 29 years of age; compared with most younger people than him he isn't that badly off. My son can't afford £24 or £26 to go to a game. These are the people the club should be targeting as future attenders not older people that are a shorter term income prospect.

Therefore I ask - why do older adults get concession prices and younger, struggling adults with mortgages and children don't?

If OAPs were to pay the full price they would consider £110 a good deal for a five match ticket surely?

You come across as a typical OAP with a strange sense of entitlement based on absolutely nothing tangible; only a perception that 'some' OAPs aren't particularly well off. Take it from me, some younger people are significantly less well off than 'some' entitled OAPs.

The cost of going to watch Dundee is far too much for many people, young and old alike. I'd like to see 500 season tickets offered at a pay what you can afford rate, and really publicise it as an honesty ticket. If all 500 are sold they could then make it a 1000.I wouldn't care if someone could manage £50 only and paid it, I'd rather see a skint Dee get to see his/her team than moan cos it was cheaper than my ticket.

Genuine Dees who can afford to pay the normal price would be stopped from offering silly money by their own conscience surely?

Deeranged when I first brought this up with either yourself or Bobba in the Ellenbank either you or him was totally against equalizing prices.

Have you changed your position over the last few years?

Or have you always felt this way.

Nice idea but everybody thinks they are worse off than the next.

    Wouldn't work.

Not sure what the big guy's opinion is but I've always said an adult doesn't stop being an adult just because they get to 60 or 65 years of age. Are you not getting confused with him giving me pelters for banging on about it on the train then producing a Club 50 railcard when the tickets were checked? He never shut up about that one

Why not work on having PATG sections in each stand with a dedicated turnstile? Need to be worked on so that ST holders in these areas are supportive of the idea. Seems to me that the Main Stand section ABC are already reserved for away fans so why not try to build a PATG Dee based section. You can limit the number of PATG tickets to be issued at each stand so that you don't oversell. you could put a countdown number on the outside so people would be able to judge if the queue was acceptable and it was likely that they might get into the stand of their choice. It might encourage earlier attendance so that there could be critical observation of the shootie in practice in the pre match warm up, apologies for going off topic!

With there being regularly 5k plus seats available for every game except Rangers and Celtic I think we need to look at something to encourage the lapsed supporters. Winning games, scoring goals and bringing back some anticipation of being entertained are the most needed improvements for watching football at Dens but a bigger home support, provided it's full of young enthusiastic supporters who drown out the moaners, seems to be something that should be sorted.
