The one thing I keep hearing about us...

And the way we play...'Burn out'.

Seems to be a common thing around the footy boards..we are just gonna shoot our load too early and go limp..probably just before or just after Xmas.

Think it could be wishful thinking for those who hate us..but it could also be a possibility..hopefully not.

    Thoughts?

I think it's a case of clever rotation and then do we have the depth of quality to carry it off. As long as he keeps sitting on his lucky bucket we'll be fine.....

Think that is the key to be honest..'Rotation'.

One things for sure we have got the rest of the championship worried at this moment in time.

I think "worried" is a slight understatement.

Good timely substitution today to protest our assets and give some exposure to others.

Looks like they'll be changes for Tuesday.
First game against Stoke looked like 90mins plus extra time for a few players. How often do you see players getting cramp, in a bog standard league game.
I thought that this game we would see the consequences of that, but was pleasantly surprised that we still looked as fresh towards the end. I guess if you get used to playing with that intensity, it becomes the norm and fatigue doesn't come into play. It might change if you're playing through knocks and injury and that could affect us. I think Bielsa has mentioned that the team has to have 2 players for each position, so rotation will be key and if you can rotate without weakening what you have that will be important.

I think the next five fixtures will be a good gauge.

    Bolton (midweek)
    Rotherham (H)
    Swansea (a) Midweek
    then Norwich (a)
Middlesborough (h) (played 1 game more than us, though I think the Swansea game, evens that out)

The way we play now needs to be the DNA of the club from top to bottom, players then can slot in easy when needed.

We will have enough points on the board that the consequences of potential burn out wont be relevant

Our teams for the cups, will really give an indication of how focused we are on promotion this year. Personally would be very happy to see our second string team playing cup matches if we get to play full strength in the league ( and give the lads a rest)
