    Leaving? Like Rafael said...

....our squad is only, maybe, a little bit stronger than it was last season. This mainly depends on whether or not the new centre backs are an improvement on or at least just as good as the injured Lejeune (I doubt it, he was starting to look really solid) and whether or not Rondon and Mutu are upgrades on Joselu and Gayle (I like to think so, though I don't think they're world beaters as such).

The point is this - and it's been made before - Rafael can only work with the tools he's got available. He now knows that every transfer window under Ashley will be like this one - slight improvements (and that's not even certain) but not enough to properly advance as the other teams are strengthening their squads a lot more than we are. Thus, I think this is probably it for Rafa. I think he will leave at the end of the season. No new contract signed. And we'll be back to square one and probably bring in some kind of a dinosaur manager with no clue or class.

    Sorry.

Yup, i don't think anybody will disagree with you.

He'll leave with his head held high and the best manager we've had in a long while we'll be gone.

Fat Sam has been sucking up in the press and support all of Ashley's stances god forbid

I was just gonna say Jammy, Fat Sam might actually end up as a real possibility in terms of being our next manager

That really would be the last straw for a lot of folk. Pardew has been mentioned as well.

I really cant see either Allardyce or Pardew back here, not after the last time. Would the fat controller REALLY be so feckin thick to appoint either of those two clowns! He might see it as yet another way of pissing off the fans of course, which he does on a regular basis, cnut

How thick has he been up until this point? Anything's possible with him, I certainly wouldn't rule re-appointing any of those two clowns out. Unfortunately.

It was the FCB that sacked Sallardyce; he didn't walk. So I'm sure he'll come back.

Toad Head guarantees survival, is cheap and fairly desperate for a Prem League job. The fans will boycoutt for 3-4 weeks, bringing attention for some newly installed HoF banners in the stadium, after which the fans will pack it out again and Ashley will have a compliant yes man. He'll moan at the lack of signings but they all do...

After the media comments by Rafa I doubt a new contract will be offered anyway .

The fat kernt wants another Pardew or fat sham.

Just looking at the fixtures .. Cardiff is almost a must win already , cos even palace away , the way they played yesterday is a toughie, then Leicester on the 29th sept at home is far from easy .
Long time until the fixtures turn at the end of October .
