    Spurs new ground not ready

Tottenham have delayed the opening of their new stadium because of "issues with the critical safety systems".
Spurs had been expected to play their first game at the new ground on 15 September against Liverpool but that match has now been switched to Wembley.

Tottenham's following home game against Cardiff on 6 October has also been moved to Wembley.
A venue for their Premier League game against Manchester City on 28 October is currently 'to be confirmed'.

Should be ok for our game Dec 15th

    It gets worse

Tottenham's new stadium will not be ready before November and the club might have to play all their home Champions League group matches at Wembley. (Times - subscription required)

The Football Association has blocked Spurs from moving their October meeting with Manchester City to Etihad Stadium.

Tottenham host Manchester City in the Premier League on October 28
Their new home ground has had opening date pushed back further then planned
They cant play the game at Wembley as it’s already booked.

Now the RFU won’t entertain the idea of using Twickenham

The FA won’t let them swap Home and away dates round - but they let Liverpool do it with us??

Ideas on a Postcard to Mr Klopp!

What has this got to do with Mr Klopp OC ? Or are you suggesting he offers them Anfield for the game ?

They should order them to play at Haringey Borough which is just down the road and has a capacity of 2,500 with seating for 280!
There is no game scheduled at their ground on that date, let them see how the other half lives.

    It’s not getting better

Tottenham have been told that their fire detection contractor has ‘encountered higher than usual electrical wiring faults’ and that the fire alarm systems and some other electronics are way behind schedule.

The source added: ‘Completion could run into next year, depending on what other issues crop up. A best guess is that this delay will be between three to six months. In addition, the cost of the build has already reached £1billion and it is difficult to predict what the final bill will be. The costs keep piling up.’

They are still uncertain where they will be able to host Manchester City, with an NFL game taking place at Wembley on October 28.

It is likely the club’s Champions League home group games will have to be moved to Wembley. The EFL will allow them to play Carabao Cup games at their opponent’s ground.
