Indeed, I saw the Hearts game at the weekend too and they simply bullied Celtic, as they did in last seasons win, but were even more physical. Every other Scottish team should take note ... maybe not the prettiest football to watch but it helps bridge an otherwise insurmountable financial gulf that exists in our game. Celtic should be invincible in our league given the relative resources of the teams but they are most certainly not and I believe they'll drop far more points this season compared to last season.

Ive said it for long enough. Since last season. The pigs are there for the taking. They were rank last season(in celtic terms). Easily as bad as the Ronnie days.
The problem is nobody took it upon themselves to try and rattle their cage. Something that hasn't happened for years. How would they cope under serious pressure. Nobody knows. Nobody had the heart to have a real go at them. We were the absolute worst for it. Hopefully managers have taken note for this season.

With respect, the league was well and truly over by then. We didn't do our bit in numerous games with them before that, some far more important. If that game was important to Celtic do you think we would have won?
I know people at Celtic and they've said before that the Champions League keeps people in work. Other than the money, what's the point of Celtic being there anyway?

The worst example being the Sunday game after they had played in Russia on the Thursday. We sat back and allowed them so much time to casually knock the ball about. It's all very well saying AEK did tat last night and scored on the counter but we don't seem capable of playing that type of game. One win in however long doesn't justify the way we always seem to set up against them. Hearts have shown twice that they just don't like the opposition getting in about them and basically stopping them getting into their stride.
