Absolutely agree...an important part of the way forward and to reverse my usual mantra...so much to gain...so little to lose.

Can someone please tell Morris to lay off the players and management and just try to encourage them to be aggressive ? I'm all for 3-3 scorelines with a young attacking side, let them off the leash ffs.

This is like watching paint dry

You really are an extraordinary creature aren't you. I am sure that if you don't find something to moan about every day of your existence, you would wither and die.

Based on your analysis of the season so far, I assume that, if your missus got pregnant, you would be ranting if the lad (or lass) was not born within a week of conception and incandescent with rage if the infant was not walking at 3 weeks. God help him/her if they didn't get into Oxbridge at the tender age of 11.

Its a work in progress (FFS, to use your favourite expression) with a new manager and a team unfamiliar with one another, many of whom may not even know each other's names yet. Lampard is a rookie working with a team of hastily assembled players who have got off to a modest start - a fortunate win away from home and a pasting at home. But give it time - come and rant at Christmas when we are in the bottom six by all means, but for now, sit back, chill out and assess our performances rationally.

Rome (that's a big place in Italy) wasn't built in a day

Wouldn't it be more effective if you actually got of your arse and went to matches Instead of commenting on every thing Ramage says What the hell has Morris ever done to you did he show you the door at a job interview or something What sort of brain expects the owner of a football club to get the players to be more aggressive You don't have a dog and bark yourself You keep telling us how good the trees are and how much money you have by on them why not listen to Radio Notts or feet some knowledge off the fat man in the Post

    So did Gary Birtles!
No I was just having some fun. But although I doubt he'll break into the first team, I do wish him a good future.
From what I read, many Brazilian stars start out in the beaches, so this has to be a good thing. The more youths given a chance to take up sport is better than having them on the streets or getting into trouble.
Hopefully he won't be the last and many more will get the same break he got.
Good on Derby to give the lad a chance.

But what IS this chance you talk about, have we actually signed this guy with a view to him playing for Derby? Or is he going to doing some ball tricks during half time? I'm confused by it all, don't get me wrong and I agree with what you've said but apart from the news of the signing theres been nothing else from the club
