I think he played a few second string players most teams do ,

    If you were content with

    picking 9 defence minded players

a team that didn't see entertainment as a requirement

your first thought was not to lose

Then I reckon next doors dog could set up a team not to concede too many.

Maybe, and perhaps he did field a 2nd team Prando. This is probably no different to playing players out of their natural position? So much tribute has been paid to him of how his teams concede so few, but last season when Putin was at the helm we sure conceded many goals (and also against lowly opposition). Those defending him will state that possession counts for nothing and to look at Leicester (the season they won the title), yet we still were not scoring to win any games. Just set us up not to lose.

I agree with you, regis80. In fact he did make 10 changes for last night, as quite a lot of teams do at this time of a competition. Anyway, we don't have to worry about Pulis anymore, that's for the Boro fans now.

I'm waiting for an answer from our resident Accounts specialist, to show me how Jeremy Peace got hold of that £27 million dividend. Do know, I somehow think it won't be forthcoming!!

What a knob you are Sweeper to which you have always been, and this is why your dodgy stats about the clayheads were laughable! I would bet my mortgage more on Boro finishing above us, and yet I go to most of the matches. Do you? No - well thought so!

The accounts speak for themselves so don't try and be clever like you tried with your stats, as it does not suit you. Don'y even think you are a Baggie so do one! How about meeting me on Saturday in the fanzone - name the time?

Oh dear. Why do you think it necessary to raise a topic that is over a year old. May I suggest that you track back to that time and note that others agreed with me. In reply to your questions, which appears to be beyond you to answer mine, you would be very surprised to know my family history of support for Albion, much longer than yours, no doubt about it.
Those accounts don't speak for themselves, that is why I asked you to explain certain points unfamiliar to me; you made out that accounts were right up your street! Your failure to do this indicates to me that you do not have that knowledge. Prove me wrong!
The claim that a dividend of £27 million went to Jeremy Peace is of great concern to me, because it is not right for that to have happened. As you will not answer my questions, perhaps a letter to Mark Jenkins would be appropriate.
Finally why be so abusive in your reply, you are aware that it is against the rules of posting. Hmm, probably not!

" family history of support to West Brom" What does this have to do with the price of potatoes? My great grandfather supported Accrington Stanley - WTF! Obviously, you don't support West Brom though as you constantly tried to undermine stats over a year ago which were just as dodgy as Mr Peace.

In 2015-16, dividends of £27 million were paid to an “intermediate parent” company called West Bromwich Albion Group Limited. Jeremy Peace controlled all the finances whilst in situ at the club as we was the major shareholder so he pretty much owned everything including the newly built fanzone area where you can get a tasty pie if you care to go to a match. Dividends are paid to Directors and an individual is not named, so the fact the Peace may have resigned at one of the linked companies earlier is immaterial. The £27 million paid in dividends was an extremely shrewd and clever way to move money which is legal from A to B. How do you know this £27 million went to Jeremy Peace you say? You 100% can't prove who pockets a dividend but it's clearly obvious as Peace was the major shareholder so he could have total say on who gets what and where it's paid.

Money through the back door my dear chap! Paying £27 million in dividends to a linked company where you had resigned from could be a very clever way to avoid even more personal tax.

Are you suggesting Mark Jenkins pocketed the £27 million dividend as he can't even make a decision on capital expenditure of new lawn mowers without taking a flight over to China

Interesting. You've done some research there, Al, which is very enlightening.
If accurate, it would be quite enough to ruin the reputation of a prominent name in the Club's history, but it would also turn many people against our Club forever. In this respect I'm obviously hoping it's not true.
If it's not accurate, however, you might have JP's Solicitor's letter through the post. (I'd just check it out fully if I was you).

Let us know when you get the full 100% story.
