    Queens v St Johnstone

Big game for the club this weekend as a win would see us into the quarter-finals and a potential much needed money making tie to look forward to.
Last nights IRN-BRU Cup wasn’t out priority and Naysmith was correct in testing players for the Saints game.

Referee for this one is Davie Erskine and he’s assisted by Jackie McEwan & Sandy McNay

Things went exactly to plan last night didn't they ? . Big players were rested and we still went through. Dobbs was brought on to make sure the game was won and the half hour he played wouldn't have taken too much out of him. I am pleased Naysmith took this chance to try out young boys / squad players because they will all be needed sooner rather than later and we need them up to speed.

Referee is Don Robertson with Sean Carr and Joe Lawson. Steven Kirkland is the fourth official.

Roberston was the referee for the Motherwell game and Kirkland was the referee for the Dundee Utd game....

I would play a back four of Marshall LB, Mercer RB, Semple CH and Doyle CH. Fordyce is a bit off at the moment and think this would give us a better chance of winning.

Both Mercer & Doyle played well up at Stenhousemuir on Tuesday night JRs. I wonder if he’ll stick with Jack or bring back in Alan Martin

    Josh Todd is injured again

I'm sure Martin will be back in goals. A pity that Todd is injured again as he's been impressive so far this season.

Really looking forward to this cup match and think we have a good chance of getting the win today.

Hopefully we will look to play to our strengths as opposed to negating St Johnstone. If this is the case then we will have a decent shout at getting a result today.
