    Yip fair comment.
    Preston are another good shout.
    Or Swansea? Billy Reid.
Sell on prospects won’t bother them if they sign him on a Bosman.
He might do what McLean did - sign & get loaned back

In essence for both clubs in many of these situations, a common answer will be “undisclosed”.....basically an agreement......

The young loon is a unit and a player, here hopes he gets to fulfil his potential up here as I’m sure he’ll be given every opportunity under our current management team.

    If Sunderland get promoted maybe.
If not, Bristol City or the likes.
Other than inbuilt negativity, what are you basing that on exactly??

Because it’s his last chance to do so.
    He’s 28 next summer.
I probably would, so basing it on that too.

Personally I think if we are offering Shinnie and GMS four years at £4k/week or so then weve a good chance of retaining them. 28 and 29 by end August 2019 they are not going to be in demand in the same way as McLean was (and even he exceeded expectations imo).

However if Shinnie wants to move on we have a captain in the making in Devlin and a box to box midfielder in Ferguson.....

If we were to take in a decent fee for McKenna now, January or next summer hopefully some of that can be used to retain other players

As I said at the start of the thread give him an improved 4yr deal immediately. He'll be the next one being pursued. If he continues the way he has started, no doubt, the hun come knocking

If the clubs agreed to that, I don't see what problem anyone could possibly have with it. Most businesses keep such matters close to their chests.

So . It`s has been decided. And the Club is happy with the decision. No complaints from Hamilton ,...so far ?

Let`s just assume it`s within the common boundaries as previously discussed. £100 - 200k ?

Great. He`s worth all that and more. Now lets go spend the rest of the " set aside " money on Chris Cadden .
