    Garlick a Remainer

Seems the owner of BFC is a Remainer and part of Project Fear:-http://www.insideworldfootball.com/2018/08/16/burnley-owner-warns-brexit-will-harm-premier-league-player-movement-pay/

That says it all for me, he should keep his political views to himself, not use it as an excuse for our failings.
I think it is probably time for outside investment tbh if we can survive this season.

We haven’t really bought many European players from European clubs so Im not sure what he’s worrying about - more an issue for the top 6.

As we mainly go for British players it should play into our hands surely.

Seeing that his main interest is in funding British and Eire players, I don't really know what he is on about. The falling value of the pound should be his real concern, not Brexit.

Except he isn't pointing out facts, just more Project Fear FAKE NEWS. There has been no fall in the pound against the Euro since the referendum, it's been fluctuating in the same range, approx. 1.10 - 1.15 for the last ten years now. It goes up, it comes down, the Brexit vote hasn't made a blind bit of difference to the range it fluctuates in.

He'd be better off looking closer to home for the reasons we're so fecking useless in the transfer market, instead of making stuff up about Brexit. And he'd be better off keeping quiet on Brexit, he's on dangerous ground gobbing off on this subject, when the vast majority in Burnley want out of the EU.
