    Spend vs Bournemouth

    Was on sky sports today, since we had benitez which is about 2 and a half years our net spend is £40m profit Bournemouths is £76m in the red... Did anyone think it would be so bad before we got the cash man???

    I think it just shows that prem clubs can survive with the current TV deal money alone and dont need the gate money (Bournemouth capacity 12k St James' Park 52k),but it does help if you spend a decent amount of what the club makes. So WHY did the FCB increase the ST price this season for the single year deals? Because he's a greedy bstd!!!

    Thing is Geordie every penny generated could mean anything. Especially when you’re taking quarter of a huge fee ie Mitrovic so the overheads have to be met before any transfer fee goes out. The money generated is almost gone. ‘You can only access £500k of the £5.5m we’re getting in mind Rafa.’ It’s just one big smokescreen.
