    Starters

Wonder if Rafa will start both Muto and Rondon tomorrow, can't see it but I wouldn't mind. Is Yedlin definitely out ? looks like Manquillo's chance to make a name for himself, hopefully. I'm going with 1-3 scoreline, well, you've got to be positive haven't you ?

I think cos Joselu scored he'll probably carry on starting this game but i'd like to see Rondon start personally.

Yedlin is training so might start but sadly think we'll see Manquillo start instead.

    I reckon a 0-2 win.

Aye, lets aim for the positivity.

I wonder if Rafa seriously rates Manquillo or if he was the only option to bring in at the time we bought him? Yedlin is not perfect, but he's streets ahead of Javier from what I can tell.

I suspect it was only option at the time.

We needed cover and we needed other positions filled so that was best we could get with money we allowed for that position.

Yup. Same with Joselu. No way Rafa rates their skills as footballers, just their work ethic.

    Damned with faint praise.

Those two players are prime examples of how Rafa has had to prioritize putting a hard-working team with very limited footballing ability together under Ashley - just so we could survive in the league.

Still Rafa has managed to make it work as much as is humanly possible.

I would like to see both Rondon and Muto start but think it will be Joselu as lone striker. I dont think he will risk Yedlin but will play Manquillo and maybe play 3 central defenders and losing Perez to accommodate Fernandez.

    Sounds feasible.

I think it will be the same midfield and forwards with Manquillo and possibly Fernandezz instead of Clark.

Think it will be the same starters minus Yedlin obviously, replaced by Manquillo. To be honest I can't remember him having a mare for us,I think he's a better defender than Yedlin (that's him hexed for the morn then)
Would like to see Rondon start but Rafa kind of hinted, during the presser he would stick wi the Hoss.I would tek that wi a massive pinch of salt though.Guess we will have to wait until 11.30 the morn.
Raffas probably sitting in his hoose in the Wirral wondering just like us..
