I thought it would provoke some interesting replies. Knowledge and experience wise he blows Chettle out of the water. Maybe not being in the ex Forest 'IN' crowd won't help him with Fletcher and the rest of the hangers on recruiting.

Because I think they were both equally useless*.

* McParland only rates useless as a manager, he was very good as a player.
Branston was useless in both his roles at the club.

Such an expert elite. I bet your experience in the game is overwhelming! As for advertising the position. Well Hardy has a reputation for putting his mates in jobs which hopefully will not rule McParland out which generally turns into a fiasco just look at the last two Academy Managers. Anyway I'm on my way down to the game, pop up and discuss with me.

I haven't heard about the Academy being in a mess from anyone other than your good self McCullochIsGod. Can anyone else confirm please so I can be sure it's not just a rumour being pushed by someone with a very specific agenda? I wouldn't want to jump on a bandwagon that turned out to have no engine.
