Thread: Murrayfield or Hampden?

    Murrayfield or Hampden?

    http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/1...-to-edinburgh/

There you are then Hampden has to be where the important games take place otherwise the fans of Scotland’s great clubs would have to travel along a motorway or use trains to get to Edinburgh. The Police Federation say this would cost a fortune to police. The tendency for the weegies to loot and burn as they go about their ‘supporting’ isn’t mentioned of course but that’s the unstated justification for staying in Glasgow where their behaviour is easier to contain.

An other option of course would be for the SFA to impose serious fines, bans from competitions and other sanctions short of throwing them out altogether. No no better to reward them for being hooligans and stay in Glasgow.

    Hampden

Better stadium, better pubs, it’s the home of football, magic day out & it’s not in Edinburgh

Police Scotland can generally GTF but someone there is wise enough not to want the old firm scum in their toon.....however, not so sure about the regular derbies they are talking about ....patronising to the rest of the club's at the least!

Murrayfield is pish, absolutely terrible place to watch the football and it'll be just as bad to get to when it's a big crowd of partizan fans.

Aberdonians are just scared of Glasgow.

    Hampden all the way.

Murrayfield. It's time to break free from this glasgowcentric ****e. The first step is to move to a national stadium that doesn't have a "traditional" celtic and rangers end.

That only exists because Aberdeen allow it. It would be a doddle to fix. Blame our board for that one, not the SFA
