    Still very early in the season

    Wasnt the best game of football I've ever seen but this season is going to be very long and tough .

    I'm not worried in the least.
    We have a squad that is about as equal as another 10.
    We will play garbage and decent and good in more or less equal measures that will likely ensure we easily beat relegation and possibly hold a similar position to last season.

    "Easily" is a massive stretch, we could be struggling in many games to scrape a few points like we did last season for a long time. It's true though that there are a lot of teams on about the same level as us.

    Cardiff will struggle and Southampton under Hughes will too. Huddersfield will go down I think.

    You're right, Kev, it is early but,as you say, it's going to be a long and tough season and the fact we played so poorly against what most pundits consider to be the worst team in the league is a big worry.

    Doesn't help when your 'best' player plays like a drain then misses a pen with the last kick of the game...we may well rue those two missed points....well, more than we are now, anyway.

    Our squad is ****e tbh so I'm not expecting very !uch at all this season so it's good point
