Thought the young lad performed very well today. A lovely turn on a sixpence and pass early on settled him down and put in a good shift. With the small number of established players in the squad , boys like Owen are getting a chance. We will need lads like him, Murray and Tremble to really push on to combat our lack of money in bringing experienced pro's in.

Yes young Owen was thrown in at the deep end very early on and certainly didn't look out of place in the midfield. Ninety minutes against SPL opposition will do the lads confidence wonders and he has always looked the most skilful of our current bunch of youngsters.

Owen is also a relation thru my cousin, Craig. Owen is his second cousin.
