Let's just say for arguments sake he is to blame for the state of things at the club(we know he isnt).
Then who is to blame for the other 9 wasted years under Ashley with 2 relegations in that time.We only had 2 relegations in the past.He has matched it in the last 11 years.
Yesterday we saw QPR thrashed 7-1.The dynamic duo of slug and chumpley chased that manager for nearly a year to get him here.
This will probably be another question of mine that goes unanswered by the brains of the board.

I, for one was very surprised that MacMuffin was ever appointed in the first place. Even by then before he was appointed here he'd found himself a place on the ridicule plinth throughout the whole country.

Imagine spending months wooing him from Derby when you look at several young up and coming managers who would have given anything to come here, even under Ashley.

While it is clear that Newcastle does not have Ashley's focus, it would be better if he ran it at a minimal or no profit instead of debiting the on-pitch finances to return a bigger profit.

With a bit more control of all football finances, and a brief not to lose any money Rafa could do more. He will walk because he has too little control. With the mediocre resources at his disposal, his results will be mediocre.

TO be honest, if we'd fired him after the bournemouth debacle (i think) we'd of been safe i reckon as Rafa would have had 3 extra games.
