Should never have brought him in. Same goes for Joselu.

I know we needed bodies but when either of those two are in the side we're on the back foot already. I don't understand why we didn't take a chance on a young, up and coming player from the Chimpo, say, who at least might have had the chance to improve. These two were shite when we bought them with shocking playing records behind them and they're not going to get any better.

The reasons we bought them-under investment, time running out, etc, are understandable but those two? pfft

    Agreed.

We bought them rather than up and coming because up and coming cost money that we wouldn't pay

I don't think you can buy an up and coming player from the Championship for 5mil that's good enough. Joselu isn't good enough either, but it would've been the same.

If Rafa had been given money, he would never have been a Newcastle player. I like him for his attitude and work rate, but he doesn't score enough goals and he's not enough of a nuisance to defenders. I'll thank him for his efforts when he leaves knowing that he was never good enough.

Oh and Manquillo is f*cking terrible. Couldn't keep up with a lawn mower if he tried.

Wonder what the decision to buy him in the first place was, he was obviously this bad before he came here. Must have been price.

Rafa obviously sees something in him or he would have offloaded him.
What does he see? I don't know.
