Depleted line up and bench.. Bit of a blow.. I'll stick with my prediction though.

2 down at HT, poor first half. And we lost Armstrong just before. Second half we played really well, and deserved a point. I'll take that. Considering Dack & Palmer weren't playing. Much much better without Ritchie 2nd half has to be said.

2-2 after being 0-2 down, then losing a further 2 players, to add to the 2 lost before kick off.. Decent result, keeps us unbeaten for the moment, which helps confidence I think.

What a cracking match! Could easily have been two-up in the first ten minutes. Then a very poor half-hour, defensively, with two of our most reliable players, Mulgrew and Lenihan, looking particularly shaky. After that, we more or less dominated, but Reading always looked dangerous on the break. With slightly cooler heads in front of goal, we would surely have scored another.
The injuries were very disruptive too, but all credit to the spirit TM has instilled in this team.
How far did Bennett run in this game? I take it the fitness team does record such things. I'd love to know.
Rothwell is doing his best to reassure Mowbray that McGinn and Freeman weren't such big misses after all.
I actually think Nuttall doesn't look out of place on the limited evidence so far. If he can get a full season playing in L.1, I reckon he might genuinely be in contention.
Smallwood seems to be going through a period similar to that which affected Evans, Graham and Williams at the start of last season. He's working really hard, but is just slightly out of form.

As you were on the prediction front
I was not too excited by the constant hoofball but can understand why we played like it
Without dack and Palmer we look to be lacking in confidence and underlines the need for someone else with a bit of guile and skill.
