The biggest disgrace is the big transfer fees as it stands.
I'm sure we'll break a record if the right player comes along...but we all have to remember that bigger transfer fees equal much bigger wages which will inevitably create a knock on effect that we will soon be unable to sustain if we don't start winning stuff.

To do that means to compete with the elites with many contingency plans in case we inevitable struggle to do that.

We aren’t asking for Liverpool, Man U or Man City fees but FFS trying to compete with the Southampton’s, Brighton’s and Huddersfield’s in the transfer market would be nice don’t you think?

We are easily keeping up with the Southampton's and the Brighton's. Take a look at the league last season.

So in answer to your question maybe £17/20m on a pretty decent striker would be nice.

We have one. He's a loan but could easily be that 17 million striker.
We also had a £22/27 million one that we let go.

I think he’s starting to feel the heat just a little now that us fans are getting pretty reliable info that he is taking money (which we all suspected) and that’s why he is wheeling out his apologists to try and placate us. Well it ain’t working.

I think he'll do what he decides he thinks is required.
