PL - Table after fixtures of 18/8/18.

Remember, as both a twenty year bond holding Leeds fan and a New England Patriots season ticket holder, I'm barely human and the stresses and strains of both literally and figuratively using my cranium to enter your incredibly well-considered scores isn't always as accurate as it might be. Oh, and it hurts too.

I'm always a little wary of including Leeds fixtures as, more often than not, they've not worked out well in either the real football world or our PL universe but, fortunately, Our Lord Bielsa seems to have sorted this thorny problem out for now, resulting in at least three points for all of our active posters.

Instead, the trickiest fixture seemed to be the League Two game, although this proved no problem whatsoever for this week's top scorer, Tichi1 (OOEE), who scored eigh**** out of the twenty-four points available using all four matches, including the exact scorelines in the two lowest divisions. Keeping track of the minnows is certainly an effective way to do well in this competition.

Five more scored a dozen. Well done to Dalek (OEOx), Gaz1959 (OOEx), MORRIM (OOxE), Pissbelly (OOEx) and Whitestomper45 (OOEx). All are in solid league positions.

Deklufc took both a real and a virtual holiday this week without any real damage and we welcome gardsPNE as a newbie from Thor's stomping ground to the West.

There is a five-way tie at the top of the table, but we're still in August, so I won't be engraving any trophy just yet...

There were two draws, so any Strike One or Strike Two posters scored six or four points and Johnny_Default is on fif**** points for the season.

It's Gards, he's a k ender fan so won't go the distance :-) He'll surface on Tuesday night when PNE come for their big game at Elland Road - mind I reckon we will play a very weak team so they will possibly win, they did beat Morecambe after all - sorry Gards couldn't resist.
