I am glad there is a spiritual side to you Chalky, with your face set in the right direction, nirvana is inevitable. Faith has to be more than covering the bases though. The answer to my question in regards to the dogs was stand back, to let the others drink. In the Hindu religion, there is a story about a man walking in the woods who comes across a starving lion, and he offers his arm to the lion to eat. Jesus was crucified.

The story about the turtle was that there is more chance of a turtle surfacing once, amidst the entire surfaces of all the oceans, and his head surfacing by chance, inside one tyre, than there is of Notts County winning one game before christmas.

    That is all.

The odds of the turtle putting his head through the tyre amist all the vast surfaces of the oceans are greatly reduced if that turtle has been swimming all of its life wondering how to see the other world out there, upon looking up and seeing the tyre he thinks that's it's a window and so deliberately puts his head through the tyre,it's still a sad story,as for Notts winning their first game before Xmas then it may not happen,we are bottom of the League and the football is absolutely dire,Nolan seems to have lost the plot this season but I'm going to keep faith in him for a while yet

I can see the reasoning behind the man giving the starving lion his arm to eat but he had a choice in the matter and Jesus did not so it can't really be compared and of course the lion story is just that,a story whereas Jesus walked among us at one time
