Great start, but need for recruits clear

Been a good, solid start to season, some of the football played, has been the best for years, but after 4 games played, you can see where some quality needs to be added to ensure the rigours of the division, don't start to bite back.
CB - Both CB been solid, but sooner or later, you fear they will get caught out, and with Jansson now injured, cover is thin on ground.
CM - Phillips & Klich possibly the standout players so far, but the speed / tempo of matches will tell, Forshaw injured, that leaves Baker.
ST - Roofes bang in form, but we are only 4 games in , Bamford / Roberts very early days for both, and asking to much for U23s to fill in, on reg basis.

Lets hope that MB & co keep pushing ahead to strengthen, not a time to rest on laurels etc.

sure they will try but if not then they have identified a squad of 25 and 25 is a decent size. personally I would like to see the youngsters like Pearce, Clarke, Shackleton etc given a chance to flourish.

far too many positives to worry about shadows.

It's a difficult one, and I'm not saying Lassoga joining last year was the main reason things fell apart, but I reckon his introduction upset the balance of the team who had been sharing the scoring duties until he started. But yes on the other hand injuries and suspensions will happen, so it's essential to have adequate cover, and it does sound like Bielsa would happily take another two decent additions, so the club would probably be making a mistake if they don't get anyone else in - but like I say it needs to be additions that are good enough to challenge for a place in the starting 11.

Yes the importance of some height back there was evident today. Cooper and Jannsen probably the only ones in that range...so another backup could be handy. But that is all we need I reckon.
