Either way, once Rafa walks, we are royally phucked!
I think he cares too much for the fans to walk out Mick and why should he pay the cockney barrow boy any money. Just honour his contract and walk everyone on the planet knows what’s going on at the Toon

    Yup.

Rafa must be a wealthy man...but not 'give fatso £6 million' wealthy, I wouldn't have thought.

If I was Rafa; in the upcoming January window, I'd sell lascelles, shelvey and Ritchie at the lowest rates possible just like the sales at sports direct....replace with loans and get nufc relegated....

    Kennedy
    Rondon
And the rest of the loans would return from where they came and we would be left with a very **** championship squad...hopefully so poor that even with a £100m investment; it wouldn't get nufc back up at first time asking....

Hurt Ashley's pockets big time that he finally sells up and we can start afresh with new inspired owners; I have no doubt someone wealthy will come in for us at a cheap price of £150-£200m

That's not as crazy as it sounds although fatso would get any money from the sales.

It may be that we have to endure short term pain for long term gain.

    It is and Short sold.

I'd hate to think we'd need to fall that far, though.

If I was Rafa I'd start getting the best from the squad by coaching full on balance so they go out on the pitch and play much more effective offensive football of which they're well capable.
Then I'd set about ensuring it's coached in to the point of making the players feel positive and 10 feet tall.

Then I'd sign an extended contract under the conditions that Ashley will have set out, which will be also geared to aid myself to push on a little bit further in terms of tweaking.

A scorched earth policy may just work. I want to keep our best players obviously, but I'd sacrifice them all and a year or twi in the chimpo if I thought that would work. It cant go on the way it is.

...good plan and then another 11 years like the last. Filling Ashleys pockets and fighting relegations.

The evidence is that the higher we go in the league with "tweaking" as you put it, the more players that then get sold off and so the conveyor belt goes on. This is just the sort of cunning plan I would have expected from you

    Lord almighty.
