This must be a difficult one for Rafa because he will be wrestling with his loyalty whatever the outcome.

What would be fantastic would be a run on Sports Direct as well as his other "fingers in the pie" piggy banks so he became desperate enough to sell the club to raise money. Rafa being privvy to these happenings would have a place in the negotiations with the new prospective owners and we would be guided to the promised land.

If I was Rafa I would of walked straight after the window and sued Ashley for the £6m plus wages and damages to reputation, under constructive dismissal. The lies and broken promises are there for all to see. However because he is an honourable man he will see out is contract hoping the club is sold and when it isn't he will walk then.

Depends on what we read in the media having any substance .

If ashley has indeed treat Benitez like we all assume and looks mainly true ... Benitez should sign no one in jan , lead the team like we played v Cardiff and watch the fat kernt squirm when he sees a potential £100m spend to get out of the chimpo (again) .Then **** off in may .. he will do us all a favour if we go down
