Queens vs. Crusaders

Wee shortarse but a terrier.A fair old battle round the corner flag near the end.Looked lively in his cameo.As to the rest of the game....phew! The best and the worst of Queens was on show today.

Well, what can you say about that ? We might have been 4-0 at half time but that was never a 4-0 half if you know what I mean ? Massive credit to Crusaders who threw everything at us in the second half and maybe a draw would have been fair over 90 mins . Nevertheless, we march on having won our last 3 games 3-0, 5-0 and 4-3 . Not seen entertainment like this for a long time !

What on earth was that all about in the second half - an unbelievable turnaround. However despite the ropey and desperate defending there was at least some light relief when a Queens clearance flew into the main stand hit
the underside and smacked Dougie Doonhamer AKA Brian (Flash) Harkness plumb on the face - his spectacles
flew through the air and landed 4 rows down but amazingly did not break. Brian's nose was a bloody mess but
with no vet in the vicinity several fellow fans kindly helped him out with paper hankies to stem the flow.
