    Pressure on Warne

Well we are 4 games in to the Championship and the warning signs are there that most of us feared /expected.If our performance on Tuesday is the best we can do then we will be in deep trouble come Xmas ,if not before.
Our manager seems to be blind to what the majority of us see on the pitch each week. His tactical ability is still in doubt judging by his set up on Tuesday with a lone striker ,at home against a team who were lacking in confidence and with a shaky back line - IMO a stupid decision but then again the team selection is also worrying me - Vaulks ,Vyner and Taylor coupled with the slow Wood is asking for trouble. Our MF cannot string two passes together and with one up front we continually invite pressure on our shaky back four.Lets see a few changes from the BBQ boys usual line up on Sunday and give Wiles ,Jones and Ragget a chance or be Warned and back to fitness coach next season.

It may be that Warne is deflecting the pressure away from the players.

Will Warne change the players in the team to suite the oposition every week like he has done the system? He's Changed it after the Brentford game, the Ipswich game and the Leeds game now.

He has got to get a settled team and a settled system soon.

We've got to alter our mindset.

At the present time we seem to be more worried about what the opposition are going to do to us and setting up accordingly, rather than putting out our strongest attacking 11 and making them worry about us.

It's far easier changing from an attacking to a defensive set up once you have established a solid lead, than it is chasing a game you have set out defensively for, it's not worked and we are chasing the game.

Teams better than Hull will punish us further if we have to go gung-ho and put 3 strikers on to chase a game when we are 3-1 down and will run up a cricket score.

We have in number more experienced defenders now than before

We are lighter in midfied now than before

We have a better hold up player now in Smith

Once he finds the right players to play in a system that suites we can compete but h needs to do it whilst we're still in the pack because if we get set adrift then we're screwed.

Surely we've simply got to go all out to win our home games because it seems we're unlikely to pick many points up when we're away.
On Sunday I'd like to see Vassell out wide instead of the lightweight, ineffective Taylor and then a front two of Smith and Proctor.
At least that would give Millwall something to think about.
If Warne plays 5 in midfield again and the result goes against us, he's likely to get some abuse from our ever-diminishing crowd and I really don't want to see that.

Good plan. Vassell is an effective player, Taylor isn't
This is what we did on Tuesday and we took the game to them

Yep like it, he would be far more effective than taylor. Go for it warney. The daft thing is all is not lost we do have players who can keep us up but we need to play them and utilise them correctly. Must, must, must drop taylor and vaulks on Sunday or we can expect the same score or worse.

Maybe upon reflection after re-watching the game and scrutinizing everyone's individual and team performances he will realise that 4-5-1 is suicide at home. If thousands of Rotherham fans can see it surely Warney can.

I absolutely think Warne is the right man for the job, he just has lessons to learn in this league and he needs to learn them quick. Do what we do best and home and stop worrying about the opposition. The aim of the game is to score more goals than the opposition to win 3 points, hence why we should always be attacking at home. Warne also needs to realise that a lot of the team from last season is not good enough for this league and stop being the "nice guy" and sentimental. Guardiola didn't win the league with City by being a nice guy. Fergie didn't become Man Utds greatest ever manager by being sentimental. This is a point game Warne, loyalties win you no points.

To be fair, after we scored Hull looked shaky and there was a brief spell before they equalised where it looked like we were taking the game by the scruff of the neck. I said to my mate that if we got another goal quickly they could unravel completely. It's hard for PW to account for the shambolic defending and schoolboy misses that undid us on Tuesday. It could so easily have been a different result.
