    .

as he says - they knew the challenge - so no there's no excuse - other than (after 3 PL games) injuries...and a failure to build from the transfermarket.

God help us if Cork and/or Westwood get injured!
We can always rely on SD`s star man Hendrick to drop back into midfield.Actually Wood could go back to midfield then at least he might not be caught offside 15 times a game.

Certainly the prep time is vastly reduced now, which can't be helping, but I wonder just how fit we really are. I'd always thought we were one of thr fittest teams in the league until I read an interview with Kieran Trippier last year. He was asked what he had found most difficult about his move from Burnley to Spurs, and he said it was getting used to Spurs fitness levels and the intensity of their training. Of course he might just have been saying that, it happens, but it did surprise me, and made me think.

Maybe our lads don't have the fitness advantage over most teams that we assume they do ?

For three years the tight ass board has been buying from the bargain bin, and these items have short use by dates... Unfortunately these dates are all ending together this season..

Aye, that big centre-forward that came off the bench at half-time, he caused absolute mayhem in the second half. Anyway, we're getting there, the two CBs who started the season are gone and we only conceded three yesterday, At this rate we could be in clean sheet territory by Christmas.

I watched ManU with their motley collection of £80 million plus straight off the top shelf superstars get stuffed at home 3-0 last night. Exactly the same score line our bargain bin lot suffered last season. Odd innit?
