    US Youth football team claiming 'transfer' money from Premiership team

    I never realised that youth football here in the US, through FIFA rulings can lay claim to monies when players move on in life. Here's a story where the local select team here, Crossfire, have been trying to get $100K from Spurs from the move of DeAndre Yedlin over there in 2014 from Seattle Sounders. $100K, that's more than RUFC get for most of our players This youth organization, a 'non-profit', isn't cheap, it costs about $1300 for your kid to play on a team for a 12 game season plus tournaments. Yedlin had a scholarship with them as he was from a poorer background.

    True. Not sure how many lawsuits the average American is involved in. I'm probably in at least 5 at the moment.
