    Would prefer him with Hegazi instead of old misery guts Bartley. Gmac might well have got on the scoresheet too.

    Interesting that he was indicating that 'the club' was having an influence on team selection. Could that be happening again with the mandatory inclusion of Brunt every game irrespective of his performances. I hope that this is not happening but it does make you think.

    I don't think they have an influence on team selection, they have an influence on player incomings and outgoings which has been the model Peace has always run.

    What I didn't like about that Times interview is that Gmac thought he was going to sign a new contract when he returned from holiday, it sounds like we messed him around a bit. And I reckon that had an impact on the Foster/Dawson situation.
