Looking at our midfield it must be one of the best in the league. Keep it up Blades.

All our goals are always things of beauty IMO.

Actually, pleased to see today that all 3 goals came from LOW crosses on the floor. So pleasant to see after years of watching countless floated crosses or useless 45 degree balls just pumped aimlessly into the middle. Also good to see goals coming from the mid field area.

    Who needs strikers anyway?

Hey up mate, have ya been away? Absolutely brilliant yesdi from our boys, almost the complete performance. We cudda been 2-0 up in't first 5minutes,what a strike from FLECKY that hit the bar. I said to our young un we played like Barca on a good day at times.Leon did magnificently well to clear possibly their only chance off the line and how clever was he jumpin over Freeman's cross/shot for our 2nd goal? Well done all concerned includin the travellin BLADES.Have ya joined the new forum yet Ronaldo? UTCB

Yes Rod, I have had a short trip away including a “scouting” (football, not boy) mission to watch a game in the Belgian 1st tier. Sadly, there did not appear to be a new Hazard, De Bruyne, or Fallaini on show. There was a sub who came on and scored 2 late goals, but the bloke he replaced was useless (which makes you wonder), and his ability to “find space” in the area seemed to be to stand there while the opposing defenders ran away from him. It was a very enjoyable game, but the standard was very disappointing.
As to the new forum, which I think is pretty good...........
