    Agree. I was just sat at work thinking about general elections gone past and the swingometer and all that. Thinking why the heck did they hold so many aces and effect the balance of power so much?

    We used to go in theear early doors Dools in the mid/ late 1960's. We supped double Barley Wines in a pint glass (cos we dint want them to think we were Owains) to get pissed early on. Then onto Tarn Centre finishing in Fitz. Tha ed to be quiet when bingo numbers were called or tha wor art.

    I used to put a barley wine in my ale if it was a bad pint SB but 2 in same glass would have blown my cap off never mind my socks

    Haha forgot the old Barley wines, doing the old Westgate run in Wakey then getting to the Wine lodge to ram home some barley wines before kick out time - happy days !
